SAFETCORK RUBBER TILE AND TREAD FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

Cork content improves slip-resistance when wet by 20% with leather soles using ASTM D 2047
PVC Free
Contains 10% post-industrial waste in standard SafeTCork
Contains 20% post-industrial waste in SafeTCork Fiesta. Contains 10% natural rubber, a renewable resource.
Can be installed over substrates containing Radiant Heat as long as operational temperatures do not exceed 85°F (30°C).
Can be flash coved and heat welded (some profiles not suitable) for sanitary applications.

Roppe Rubber Tile is lot controlled; material from different lot control numbers should not be combined unless shade variation is acceptable.
Roppe does not recommend the use of floor finishes or sealers of any kind since desired appearance can be maintained using standard maintenance procedures. If desired, floor finishes designed for Rubber Flooring can be used but keep in mind the slip resistance information and maintenance procedures will change from the

PVC free.
Contains 10% pre-consumer waste cork and 10% natural rubber, a renewable resource, which may contribute to the LEED® Green Building Certification System, and meets CHPS criteria.
Formulated from a unique combination of SBR rubber and cork.

All tile floors shown in the finish schedule or listed in this specification as rubber tile flooring shall be ROPPE SAFETCORK RUBBER TILE, manufactured by Roppe Corporation, Fostoria, Ohio. The tile shall conform to ASTM F-1344, Class 1.

The tile shall be (19- 11/16" x 19-11/16" {50cm x 50cm} in 1/8" {3.175mm} only).
