It is an excellent medium density hardwood ideally suited to flooring applications where strength & durability are important considerations. Elk Falls Hickory flooring range, a great choice for the rough and tumble of everyday life.

Elk Falls Hickory Flooring is suitable for installation with “In-Slab” Hydronic Heating only.

Grading

Elk Falls Hickory uses a Rustic Grade (A/B/C/D) classification.

This means boards may contain:

  • knots

  • filled splits

  • sapwood

  • colour variation

  • mineral streaks

  • raised grain

These natural features create a strong character timber floor rather than a uniform oak appearance.
