Required fields are followed by *.
Facilities that use electronic devices and precision equipment are required to have anti-static performance.
In spaces where static electricity can be a source of ignition or where sparks may occur, selecting flooring materials with appropriate anti-static performance helps reduce risk.
Surface Resistance (①): 2.6 × 10⁹ Ω
Volume Resistance (②): 3.8 × 10⁸ Ω
Surface Resistance (①): 6.5 × 10⁹ Ω
Volume Resistance (②): 2.7 × 10⁷ Ω
Human Body Voltage (Rubber Shoes): 0.5 kV (significantly lower than standard vinyl flooring)
(Actual performance may vary depending on subfloor conditions.)
| Rank | Volume Resistance (Ω) | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|
|
A |
1×10⁴ or higher and less than 1×10⁷ |
Computer rooms, semiconductor manufacturing areas |
|
B |
1×10⁷ or higher and less than 1×10¹⁰ |
Anti-static flooring, OA floors (office automation) |
|
C |
1×10¹⁰ or higher |
General indoor areas where static generation is minimal |
Rank A and B are classified as anti-static flooring products.
(Left = Higher anti-static performance / Right = Lower anti-static performance)
Test Conditions:
Measures electrical resistance across the floor surface using two electrodes spaced 90 cm apart.
Measures resistance through the flooring material thickness using a metal plate and electrode.
Electrical resistance values may vary depending on subfloor conditions.
Lower resistance values mean higher anti-static performance.
Floors with higher moisture retention generally show better electrical conductivity.
Floors with higher electrical resistance are more prone to static electricity buildup.
Tested in accordance with Japanese standards at 23°C / 25% RH:
Surface Resistance: 3.4 × 10⁸ Ω
Volume Resistance: 2.7 × 10⁷ Ω
Human Body Voltage (Rubber Shoes): 0.5 kV (significantly lower than standard vinyl flooring)
Static Dissipative Performance
Compatible with antistatic maintenance coatings such as ELEX (C×S Corporation)
Regular cleaning recommended to maintain surface performance
Wax coatings should not be applied in cleanroom environments
Some rubber casters may cause staining — equipment compatibility should be checked
Product contains integrated antistatic compounds which may cause slight surface tackiness; routine cleaning is recommended
Material odor may be present initially after installation
Anti-static performance may vary depending on substrate type
