Hardwearing polypropylene needlepunch for commercial, retail, education, healthcare, transport, and exhibition floors.

Needlepunch is a non-woven carpet construction — synthetic fibre mechanically interlocked under high pressure into a dense, dimensionally stable sheet. The result is a tough, low-pile, glue-down floor that handles heavy foot traffic, trolleys, and frequent cleaning without crushing or pile distortion. It is the go-to specification where appearance retention, tight budget, and quick installation all need to land at once.

EcoFloors carries the four established needlepunch ranges originally developed by Autex in 1967 — Decord, Reef, Raider, and Hobnail — supplied across New Zealand from Auckland.

Decord

  • Multi-tone ribbed needlepunch with a directional surface texture. Suits offices, fit-outs, function rooms, and event spaces where a quiet, professional finish is required.
  • Roll: 2.0 m × 25 m, or cut length.

Reef

  • Heathered needlepunch in earth and coastal tones. A workhorse spec for retail, education, healthcare waiting areas, and community facilities.
  • Roll: 2.0 m × 25 m, or cut length.

Raider

  • Heavier-duty needlepunch with strong colour clarity. Specified for transport corridors, public foyers, exhibition stands, and high-cycle commercial floors.
  • Roll: 2.0 m × 25 m, or cut length.

Hobnail

  • The original textured-loop needlepunch — a recognised commercial floor finish in New Zealand for more than four decades. Suits entrance zones, circulation, and back-of-house areas.
  • Roll: 2.0 m × 30 m, or cut length.
