The Lotto brand story was integral as a design driver which Lotto New Zealand wanted showcased in their new Auckland HQ.
The strong mix of colour and a variety of spaces created a refreshing and exciting workplace for the 140 lotto staff and their clients.
On arrival the space creates a warm, open and welcoming feel. Soft construction corners are finished to form the junctions of reception area, meeting rooms and staff hub. This soft-built form juxtaposes the triangular confetti shapes created by the brand design which is emphasised in the carpet, glazing film and wall finishes.
These two design elements were consistently played off against each other throughout the space, as demonstrated in;
the reception area with a soft textured organic wall sitting adjacent to a strong angular reception desk and brand artwork wall
in the open workspace where a landscape is created by soft forms in the storage units and work surfaces which divide the space by laser cut plywood screens
In the kitchen & utility hubs which have sharp details accented by graphic walls and positioned next to soft lines of informal meeting furniture.
The flooring design provided a literal textural explosion which drives a focus to various parts of the floor. This emphasises where energy is maximised - staff hub, utility, collaborative work areas etc.
The overall result delivered an energetic and playful brand story relived in the new Auckland Lotto headquarters. It provided an opportunity for employees, clients and guests to fully live the dream.
