Anti-Shock Underlay

A 4.5mm Cushion underlay that is highly shock absorbent. Made to reduce the injuries in case of falls and the occurrence of noise is required.

EcoPad underlay is suitable where there are requirments for base materials where safety, high shock absorption and to reduce the occurrence of noise is required. EcoPad underlay is characterized by its excellent shock absorption (G Value: less than 100). 

  • 4.5mm Sheet vinyl, G value is 94 /m/S2 921
  • 2.0mm Sheet vinyl, G value is 145 /m/S1421
  • Concrete, G value is 150 /m/S1470

Installation Notes:

  • During installation - be sure the printed backside is laid to the substrate
  • The joint should be applied by stacking cut
  • Reverse sheets
  • Cured for 24 hours before fixing final floor vinyl surface
  • Adhesives - STAUF D 3 Vinyl & Carpet adhesive
Please note when using with Vinyl Tiles and Vinyl Sheet Flooring:
  • When placing heavy objects such as furniture, be sure to disperse the load to avoid indentation.  
  • As a rule of thumb 1cm per every square ground load 10kg
  • Some caster wheels may leave marks due to heavy loads
